What will stop other groups – whether motivated by animal `rights` or some parallel fervour – from adopting the same tactics?

SHAC: A STORY OF COMPASSION, RESISTANCE, AND A MOVEMENT UNDER SIEGE.

Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) took on the vivisection industry in a way that had never been seen before. When Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) was exposed for horrific animal cruelty and law breaking, activists took the matter into their own hands after the Government failed to act. The no holds barred campaign targeted any and every company dealing with the lab in order to drive it out of business. They took on some of the largest companies in the world and arrived on the doorsteps of the decision-making executives, demanding they take action. Their bold and unapologetic tactics cost the vivisection industry and the UK economy an estimated £1 billion a year. Over 250 companies severed their links to the laboratory which was driven to the brink of bankruptcy on numerous occasions.

Now several of the activists imprisoned for their role in the organization are coming together to tell the real story of the groundbreaking grassroots campaign and the government repression that followed.

Come to learn tactics, lessons, and be inspired to take action for the animals!
